Fatal accidents:

Unfortunately, sometimes the worst happens, and the last thing you want to worry about after losing a loved one is finances.

If your loved one has had a fatal accident and you were financially dependent on the deceased then you may wish to contact us to discuss what compensation may be recoverable to help you with the financial side.

The recoverable compensation may include the loss of financial support, benefits i.e. pension rights and the loss of financial contribution towards your childcare or household bills, for example.

If the deceased suffered pain or distress prior to their death then you can claim for their suffering. You can also claim for any financial losses arising from their injuries, including their medical expenses and their loss of earnings. You can also recover their funeral expenses.

If you were a spouse, parent, child, cohabitor (for over two years) or other close family member then you could claim.

Bereavement damages may become payable, which is a fixed sum set by law and is only payable to the spouse of the deceased (including a civil partner), or the parents or mother of a child under 18 years.

Dealing with a loss is extremely difficult, but our staff are on hand to try to make it that little bit easier. All we need from you are a few details and we can deal with the rest, to put your mind at ease regarding finances.

Call 0845 250 0759 to let us handle it, letting you focus on the more important things.
